NATURA YOGA RETREAT
November 7-12, Cabarete, Dominican Republic
About the Retreat
Join your hosts, Pia and Victor as they share their passion for travel, nature, and yoga with this 6-day, 5-night wellness retreat to Cabarete, Dominican Republic from November 7th to 12th.
Enjoy practicing twice-daily yoga classes with two 500hr RYT instructors in an artfully designed seaside yoga shala, surrounded by lush tropical beauty.
Afternoons are free to spend indulging at the on-site spa, taking, surf or paddle board lessons at the local beaches, breaking away for a waterfall excursion, or simply napping in the salty ocean breeze.
Your on-site culinary team will prepare a health-conscious daily breakfast, with a “fusion” inspired dinner at what Forbes rates as one of the best restaurants found on the island.
Expect each day to be filled with vibrance, positive energy, yoga highs (and lows 😊), friendship and an overall experience to be savored.

About your hosts
The retreat will be hosted by Claudia (Pia) and Victor who are both 500hr certified Skanda Yoga instructors and registered through Yoga Alliance.
Our mission is to provide an eco-conscious experience to the Yogi adventurer. We will break from the routines of daily life to recharge with nature, while nourishing our bodies and spirit.
Victor Zuclich / @Vizionyoga
Victor is a certified yoga teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT500) and has been a yoga practitioner for almost two decades. He first discovered yoga after a debilitating cancer surgery at the age of 20 and credits his recovery, in part, to the cumulative benefits of a quality yoga practice.
Over the last two decades, Victor has worked full-time with State government in the environmental conservation sector. He has been employed as a Park Biologist, Wildland Firefighter, and is currently a Pesticide Regulation Specialist.
In essence, he has dedicated his career to environmental activism and protecting OUR earth’s natural resources. Nothing suits him more than being beach-side, surrounded by nature, story-telling about Spanish treasure fleets, and practicing Skanda Yoga.
Claudia López "Pía" / @Pia_yoga
Pia earned her 500hr certification with Skanda Yoga and is registered with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT200, RYT500 and YACEP). She also has certifications in Pre-natal and Yin-Yoga.
Having spent many years working in marketing, it only took a few years of practicing yoga to decide this was her life path. Within four years of her introduction to this ancient knowledge she committed to her first teacher training. It was then she embraced a new path from marketing to a career of spreading love for yoga to others.
While Pia was born in Colombia, she has been living in Miami for the last 7 years.
The program
This is an idea of how each day will look: we’ll start each day with a sunrise meditation practice followed by an empowering Skanda Yoga practice*. We’ll get invigorated by a delicious breakfast and, in the afternoon, we will do a restorative or gentle yoga practice and finish the day with the delicious food from one of the restaurants.
During the day you will enjoy some free time to spend time at the beach, spa, outdoor gym, or any other of the beautiful spaces and amenities that the hotel offers, have a walk, do some surfing, eat lunch at a local restaurant, or do any other activity you wish. We’ll also enjoy of a full free-day after the yoga practice if anyone would like to purchase an optional excursion to the area’s jewel attraction: 27 Charcos of Damajagua waterfalls
There will also be a special off-site dinner and a closing ceremony led by the Taíno Indigenous.
